$7,001-$9,233/$9,234-$11,466
The / refers to the salary bar which one has to cross in order to get into the upper tier of MX10.

do u know how's the pay at IMDA? since it's related to govtech
did govtech only switch to paying higher after they split from the old IDA?

A friend of mine just got promoted to MX11 in April:
- Just joined in Jan 2017
- Second job - first job in Oil and Gas
- NUS Engineering
- Non-scholar
This is considered really rare - does this mean his CEP is 8 or 9?

No info how to assess? He could be 30, that would be rare. Or he could be 40 and that would be normal.
