Enough of the CY/IR saga. Let’s go back to salary talks.

It’s official news that A&O and CC are cutting lawyers qualifying in sept to £90k from £94k in the UK. Anyone knows if their sg offices are affected?

3. IR is playing the waiting game and letting the social media furor die down like it should in the next few days or weeks
4. IR will then hit CY with a defamation suit to vindicate his name and simultaneously file a police report for CY's unfounded attacks wrt the racial angle.
5. CY will pay damages through his nose. That's the price to pay for an unfounded hit job by a rabidly anti-PAP individual

Those of you virtue signalling about #metoo #methree, sorry to tell you but you are just enablers of mob rule and totally unfit to safeguard the administration of justice
This is probably what will happen.
CY's only hope is if the victims (if any) come forward. Doesn't seem like that's going to happen.

I wonder who ir will hire to represent him. One of the easiest defamation cases of all time - discovery will be so quick. lol.

Speculation speculation.... Cy may possibly b able to avail himself of the defence of truth if the wife's reaction (including any statements she may make) accords with the allegations.

Anyway just wait n see.... this is all just nosey coffeeshop talk after all...

CY has been outplayed by IR la. IR's strategy is so obvious. To let this die a natural death. Either he and/or his lawyers are quite astute and can keep the big picture in mind. In 1 more week, nobody will give two hoots about this saga.

This is why Chinatown Warwick lawyers shouldn't pick fights with Davi trained, NUS law grad D&N litigators hor.

You kidding right? You think anyone will want to hire a lawyer whose name brings up pages of sexual misconduct allegations articles on google? The internet doesn't forget.

Any in-house counsels working in the public service who knows whether the Legal Market Adjustable Component will be affected this year?
