Wonder what’s like for the customer service grad program, cos I mean recruit uni grads to be customer service staff sounds quite absurd, pretty sure you don’t need a degree for that right? And where else can you exit to sia if your job is customer service

Do you even know what bloomberg does?
This is not about selling telephones or laptops.
The clients you are speaking too are traders, managing directors, investment analysts of top banks and MNCs.

Maybe you would want to have a look at the jd of the customer service staff and they literally name it customer service…and that it’s installation, support etc for the hardware and terminal… or you could share what this role exactly does? And what other roles in the banking industry can you move in to or what other exit opportunities for this role?

Tbh Bloomberg grad program is all on the Bloomberg terminal only especially the analytics and sales and customer service programs with the former being a help desk type of role. Maybe that’s why they offer 5k to attract ppl but if you think about it, where else can you exit to better roles and offers if you’re only a specialist in Bloomberg terminal like answering questions and installing it etc, you’re not even an investor or trader on this terminal.

Yes. Analytics and Sales usually will pay slightly better because it’s a revenue generating centre. However, you need to see if you’re in Analytics OR Sales.
