All this banking young punks are really too much. Other industries can only pay 4-5 months bonus and now in banking even 6 months bonus also still got people complain not enough.

what do you expect. nowadays every tom dick & harry with a generic business degree from SMU or even worse, some overseas australian university are too influenced with portrayals from Wolf of Wall Street and the like. They think that just because they work in finance, they deserve to be paid like the next Jordan Belfort.

Working in compliance at a local bank and expect to be paid > 6 months bonus? What a joke! Even the cleaner in a BB can say she works in an investment bank, should she be asking for 10 months bonus too?

Don't believe the BS la, compliance people usually don't have more than 3 Months bonus. 6 months, bluff who?

If you are in foreign investment banking FO, you can get up to 1.5yr bonus in a very good year. my cousin in US, is getting that sort of bonus.
