What's the difference between the GA program and joining as a Wealth Planning Manager? GA gets higher salary and more easily promoted?

Put it this way, the earning potential of a wealth planning manager is much higher than if you are a super good GA.

Sales beats management in terms of comp everywhere (but you have to be able to sell). Can move to PB in a few years if you are good.

Started as a PWM, moved to DBS IBD after 2 years

Now in Goldman Sachs IBD.

does dbs hire fresh grads for other divisions? I only see ops & tech roles on their website

i started off manulife insurance agent at pasir ris bus interchange, moved to maybank IBD then after 1 year moved to goldman ibd too. VP in 3 years.
