i think you better get a few solid job offers first before thinking so far, it is pointless to think about all this different kind of imaginary scenario as they may not happen in the 1st place
as for playing shares, if you dont have much unless you go margin + derivative which is high risk, no matter what it will not earn much

i'm just thinking & planning ahead ,not dreaming.Investments wise,i'm only have a few lots on reits,not playing derivatives of any sort,relatively lower risk.

what is there to think & plan? get a few offers first and then evaluate them, this is like whole day planning what you will do when you strike toto, it will not even happen in the first place.
you think as if you are the one in control of picking which job you want to accept, in reality with a average cv, you are at the mercy of whoever feel like offering you. your action will be driven by who offer you, not who you want to accept.
