Salary for marketing/communication role in bank?
An ex colleague is recommending me to apply for a marketing/corporate communication role in a local bank. From what i was told the position is equal to AVP. Just wondering how much is the salary range that i should ask for?

AVP range is wide, anywhere from 9 -12k depending on experience

I have 5+ years of working in marketing/ corporate communication role, not in banking industry though. How much do you think i should ask for? does 9-12k range apply for marcom/ PR as well or does this apply only to front office?

I doubt back office can reach 10k. For 5 years exp I suggest you state expected at 9k but prepare to settle for low end of 8k+.

umm actually avp range is super wide, 5k ~ 12k. ocbc and dbs pays the lowest but they seldom ask you to leave hehe
