imagine u earn $5-6K+ for a long time, and will u consider earning $3.5K to start all over again ur 40s? and report to someone who is 10, 15 years younger than u? and when ur friends gathering, they ask what are u doing, u might feel inferior when u earn x2 x3 of ur salary lol.
not many people can do that leh unless it's true passion for that particular role/industry

In my workplace, I met 2 foreign seniors who are 4 and 5 years younger than me, having same or higher level of education than me, plus having 2-3 more years of working experience than me. (Imagine at 19 finish Masters already).
Age is no longer a factor to determine experience especially in the new world of global competition. Need to eat your own ego to move on.

no ?
u ever heard of age discrimination ?
u sure u workin or not ? why most of ur post sound like from someone who never work before one ?
age discrimination is crazy , its worse in tech lol maybe u blind or what but people will always compare age and if they see a junior who is 5-10 years old than them , they will look down on him / her .
