Go become cleaner that's what I did. Was frustrated with office politics. Quit. Jobless. Then find a dishwashing job. Washing dishes on Sunday evening seeing other family having meals.

Made me rralized that office job is better. Even with its office politics.

Now I realise that maybe I'm not that good at my "passion", and I've lost all interest in it pretty much.

I'm not good with either words or numbers, and so I don't know what to do next. Physical labour also cannot, I got a lot of medical conditions that prevent me from even becoming macs service staff.

How ah?
What job were you in? What is your highest qualification?

Yah lo. I approached an econ rice owner and ask can give me free meal I help wash the dishes..
He said everyone take away now. No dishes to wash.

I said those cooking dishes. Pots. Bowls.

He say he can wash himself.

Take this time to build up your linkedin, connect with recruiters, with people who are in positions that you think you wanna try... I was jobless for very long last year and was also feeling very demoralised. All the best guys!!

For anyone who is experiencing this very feeling, please don't give up. I was pretty much in the same predicament and feeling the same way last year.

After graduating, I started job hunting. Things started out really well with me receiving 3 offers 1 month into my job hunt. However, I rejected all either due to the perceived low salary package or disagreement with the position offered.

As the time passes, I became more desperate. Especially seeing my peers landing themselves a job. I started "failing" at the personality test during the application phase. Even for the limited interview session I went to, I am not selected for any job.

6 months in, I started feeling and acting the same way. Avoid going out for fear of meeting someone I know who will ask me about my employment status.

One month later, 1 ministry (confidential) called me up for a position which I've applied for months ago. I got super motivated for it and managed to get through the rounds of interviews and landed myself the job.

Looking back, I do believe me being demoralise did affect my interviews during the later months of my job hunt.

With this global pandemic, things are harder. But don't give up. Keep an positive outlook.
