they studied too much. maybe they just want to portray themselves as peaches (as oppose to lemons) so they priced themselves high because of saying 'good things don't come cheap and cheap things don't come good'.

just for laugh!

Will all govt sector jobs have a second interview? Was told that there is one but...I'm not sure?

i think most would have at least 2 meetings. the first could be with the hiring manager as an informal meeting and then proceed to the formal panel interview. it comes in different style. i think MINDEF's 2nd interview is called site preview.

in this case, you can fail either of the interviews.

Oh.... Had an interview with one of the ministries today, interview was shorter than expected and not all 'standard' questions were asked. Kinda worried now...
