Even a few private coys do that. Some of my classmates got offer after their internships or even by cny periods.

Some companies purposely don't take fch, because they know these elites demand a lot though they may also offer a lot.
Some companies will base on their own judgement grab suitable talent that have the right attitude for the right salary and groom them.
For example I worked for an mnc every vacation and 1 year before I graduated they made an offer equal to fch though I was just a pte degree.

Probably cos top candidate is another person or they're not really intending to offer you... usually if you're top candidate or serious about hiring you they will follow up very fast

Pray hard that the top candidate read salary.Sg and demanded for 4k as a fresh grad as its the 'norm' ... Then you confirm got chance.
Im serious. I also got my job because the top candidate out priced themselves. Boss candidly shared.
