Hi everyone, I recently got a verbal confirmation from my P regarding my release date for OPE but I have yet to receive any email notification. How long does it usually take. Thanks!

Thanks... so you were able to see the adverts on HRP but not submit application via the system hence need to email? Closed posting - is that only for schools or also for HQ positions?

I just presumed if there was no news about OPE then I would wait for a posting from HR to any available school.

Hi, I tried to apply for closed posting but the system said I am not eligible. Can I check what happened? I do not have a D grade.

How long have you been in your current school? You have to serve 2 years in your first school (after graduating from NIE), or 3 years in a subsequent posting before being eligible for open or closed posting.

As I was on npl, the postings available were emailed to me as I had no access to HRP.From there, I could obtain the email address to contact if I were interested in the position. Not sure about closed posting though.

In theory, officer can always do PD in ePed and DI (and both) that enables entire class to be engaged. Padlet/SLS with Tiered activities and video tutorials and collaborative learning.
In practice, the quality of T&L falls steeply around the 40 student mark. Simply cannot meet the needs of so many learners at once in class, let alone in terms of written feedback (marking).

HOT does not exist for the younger generation anymore. Increments, promotions and progressions have slowed down a lot. If they reject workload and want to be HOT, might as well just resign for better prospects outside. The younger ones can only be SOTs now. Either way also will be SOT.

lol
SOT means slogging ordinary teachers then?
what abt if you go in as mid-career? can retire as HOT?
