FYI,
HR usually calculated based on their internal process/guideline before giving verbal offer package.
HR can listen to your request and will get back to you to inform the outcome which will take additional time which varies. If you need the job urgently, it is not advisable to drag because there is still required for on board admin process which may take at least 1-2 months before asking you to sign LOA.
There could be cases, they wont get back to you and you lose the job opportunity.
