Everyone's looking for an exit. Of course, it's tougher nowadays. There are so many additional, non value added procedures or requirements. Resources are always stretched, and people are always leaving, so those who stayed have to carry the extra workload.

Is there anyone out there who is proud to be an auditor? Most of the locals I met despise their jobs. Since the plan wasn’t to stay long term, of course, there’s no point in putting effort into the job. Someone still has to carry.

After the pay increment, would associates be willing to work overtime?

HR filters out candidates without CS degrees these days. Bootcamps won't work anymore.

Bro no need to be so mean, you will grow old one day too.

2020 is not that old to begin with.

Every cohort has its share of challenges but we can all learn to have a bit more empathy. Besides this forum doesn’t just target fresh graduates, but also welcome people from all stages of life.

I wonder how young are the people here if they think starting uni in 2020 is old... Are they teenagers? Perhaps that's why the post quality nosedived for the past year

OP is likely from the previous batch of cohorts, where the enrolment cutoff still contained A. had the chance to choose other courses with better job prospects, but instead placed the wrong bet on a downhill course with no good exit.

Post 2020 is when the cutoff plummeted to BCCB.

the ratio of MY/indomee/Phil finance department colleagues to local is almost 5 is to 1 in my company... it tells a lot when locals are not interested/hired for the role.
cos low salary, no progression long OT hours, need ppl who can tahan the BS for PR

lol quite funny to read the interaction between the pre-2020 and post-2020 people.

Not same wavelength at all
