Well no one point a gun at your head and force you to sign up or join.
And if you went in without doing homework, that’s entirely on you.
Or if you had no alternative choice, blame yourself for not studying harder.

I already have my CA (Singapore) but wanted to ask how does one get to be a Public Accountant?
If I’m a partner at an audit firm, who’s authorised to sign off on audit reports - do I have to be a Public Accountant?
That is to say, what additional powers do I get as a Public Accountant?
How about if I am a CFO? Does it matter if I am a CA (Singapore) or CPA (Australia)?

If you cannot even Google for these information, you probably won’t make Partner or CFO anytime soon.

Lol. This info is easily Google-able within 5 seconds. But to spare society and the capital markets in Singapore from the consequences of your ineptitude and potential negligence, you should definitely NOT be registering yourself as a public accountant.
If I knew your identity IRL, I will definitely write in to ACRA and ISCA to block your application to register on the grounds of competency.
