Q: Big4 - Yearly salary increment

Quality of staff has indeed drop. Dk for wat reason there’s a surge in the hiring of A1 staff from jiuhu in my firm. Don’t even know how hr screen them. Their accounting knowledge is worse than sec sch poa standard. Everything must be spoonfed, cannot go find out answer by themselves. And I’m not even talking about complex questions, is those that you can figure out using common sense.

Now even private uni grads also don't want to join b4 so of cos get from jhk or ceca

You should provide us with adequate training instead of expecting us to go find out answer ourselves.

If we ownself Google and get it wrong, how?

You want to work in Singapore, you better up your standards. Singapore economy demands the best and brightest.

We only pick the cream of the crop from the region to come work for us. As a major regional financial centre, our Big 4 client servicing must be top notch. Kuala Lumpur or Penang level of standards is unacceptable.

Anyway you're earning 3:1 here so I don't see why you should be whining. Buck up or be replaced.

I think replace with CECA better. Hope you can work more with Ceca in your team

Come on lah..
its very common jhk senior and mgr in b4 refer jhk to b4.
The partner said themself alrdy.. can find ppl but cant find qualified ppl.
Worst is now cannot find local lol.
Jhk will keep building the village in b4 or audit. Nth new.
Im also very happy audit got succession issues now.
