The going rate for a degree graduate is about 2.3k tops. especially if you have no experience. This was exactly what I was recently offered in a german company.
However, if you have just completed your degree, I would recommend you to look at all available options first before making the decision to join a company as I felt I made a bad decision.

A deg grad should not be applying for accounts assistant jobs in the first place, that is more for fresh diploma or few years exp ITE.

hes a private uni student - doesn't count as a grad. wont qualify for CPA SG. 2.3k is more than sufficient for him

thats not the pt. even if he's not a qualified accountant, he should be going for general finance officer/exec jobs. accounts assistant is more clerical work.

Sometimes is no choice. If you already blow $20k on a degree, need to repay loans and secure a job fast, whoever offer must also accept & talk later. Not everyone can afford to sit a home & wait for the perfect job.

You also another joker. Already blow money and time studying a degree for so long and up to now don't even know roughly what to apply? What were you doing for the past few years? How to compete with others with this sort of bochap mentality?
