Getting a IT job in Singapore as a Korean.
Hi.
As I mentioned on title, I am a Korean IT Engineer.
Nowadays I am trying to get a job, C++ or Java Software developer, in Singapore.
Although I have some experience in IT industry like 8 months internship in India and 5months work in Korea, I think I am still fresh grad. So I would like to apply for fresh grad openings.
I already applied for some companies on JobsDB and JobStreet, but I didn't get any reply from them. Now, I feel like Singapore based companies don't want to hire fresh grad Korean engineers.
My conclusion got from some apply experiences is that applying for jobs though job searching site is wasting time. So I decided to apply directly to companies. For that, I need to know Singapore based companies which have some IT openings.
My question here is "where can I get Singapore company list? I googled and failed And If you know any good way to get a job in Singapore as a foreigner, please comment to this thread.

What is your expected salary?
As a fresh grad, your only advantage is being able to speak Korean. You have better chance with Korean company with branches in Singapore.
Your competition are foreigners from India and Philippine. They are willing to earn much less to secure job here.

Thank you for the reply
My expected salary is not high, higher than $2200 is okay for me.
Isnt it already very low? If foreigners are still willing to get lower salary than that, I should consider again to get a job in Singapore.
I don't think that they get lower than $2200 per month.
So many Korean companies have branches in Singapore, but the problem is they don't put engineers to Singapore branch. Or they just put engineers temporarily.
I have long-term vision to stay in Singapore, that's why I want to get a job directly.

It may be more fruitful to be here physically in Singapore while job hunting. No guarantee of a job though.
