I'm from UOL second upper, took a gap year and just got a job offer for $5.3k/month, starting work soon. Don't have past experience from prestigious company or whatever. I admit I am really lucky. But what I want to say to fellow private u grads is try not to follow the crowd, be smart when identifying the industry, be confident and know your stuff but don't smoke your way into the interview. I guess what got me the job Is my relevant internship experiences and I'm able to show that I have the skills required for the job.

Real MoM statistics.

I keep reading about 5.5K/mth. With 13mth AWS and no bonus puts you about 71k annually. Fresh grads are about this age 25-29. And this is the statistic.

Within the "25 - 29" age group, your gross monthly pay of $71,000
places you at the 99.1th++ percentile among both genders.
You are in the top 0.9% of your cohort.

Suddenly the top 1% of the entire age group in Singapore is in this thread LOL

Base on IRAS stats 18/19, it can't deviate too much from today.

Annual income of $43,200 is higher than 50.0% of all resident taxpayers.
Considering no AWS and 1 month bonus, 43200/13

Is approximately $3.3K a month
So if you are making 3.3K gross a month, you are in the median of all tax paying residents in singapore.

The CSB are plenty in this forum. And you are an idiot if you believed that without thinking.

Assuming 5500x12 +1mth bonus = 71.5k per year

Your annual income of $71,500
is higher than 73.1% of all resident taxpayers.
Congratulations. This means only about 3 out if 10 taxpaying residents are paid higher than you.
