are you sure after working 3 years there from fresh grad can get $5000/mth??
I assume u are 1st class honors, get $3500 starting pay
For average performer, I assume 5% annual increment for 3 years. And also 1 promotion increment assume 10% (normally is 5%).
3500 x 1.05 x 1.05 x 1.05 x 1.1 = $4456.8 only, cannot hit 5k
if u 1st class + scholar, sure can hit 5k

Hey TS, I suppose u went for interview at Singapore Power? I worked at PowerGas last time. PowerGrid is in charge of the electricity grid network. I would say this job is good. The salary there is average. But the good thing is u can earn a lot from mileage (u need a car to work). This job requires u to travel around Singapore and u can claim a lot from mileages. And the company has many benefits. The working hours r flexible too. I would say u can take up the offer.

Flex benefits of 750 per year. allows u to go overseas n claim these credits. But the main thing is the transport claim which is attractive. It is non- cpf n non taxable. SOme technicians everyday just drive around singapore n get paid. Imagine u get paid by driving around. But the pay is average, wont hit 5k in 3 yrs. But still a stable and good job.

my stat board regulate powergas... flex benefits 900 per yr.... hows the bonus like in powergas?

So u r in EMA? 900 flex, not bad. Bonus in powergas average only, abt 2-5 months depending on ur performance.
