How long does uob get back to you after interview

Hi guys, i went for an interview on the 17th Jan. up till now there is no update. Under the uob career page it still shows as "Interview". Is there No chance already? How long do they normally take?

if your interview is with the hiring manager, you should hear back from the company within the same week or 2 weeks at most usually

since you applied close to the chinese new year period, there could be some delays.

don't put your hopes up too high and continue looking out for other roles.

I also went for interview about 1 week ago. No reply since then

It really depends on a case by case basis.
1 week is very short. If it is a coverted role there might be a dozen or so applying which will take 2 or so weeks for the hiring manager to interview (he has other tasks to attend to)
As someone who has worked in banks for a decade, an internal referral will be given more consideration than applying online or directly to the HR.

It is not always so. Most often it depends on the policy of the company.
