Hello. Anybody knows the difference between the management associates and associate positions they are hiring now? I know management associates is a 12month duration with 3 rotation while associates are on a 2 year contract basis with a fixed division. Anymore knows about the difference in career progression/salary wise?

MAs get promoted to Assistant Development Partner after 1 year. 1 year later, Development Partner. Then 3 years later, Senior Development Partner.
Associates follow the Admin Executive route while MA is leadership track.

How does the job grade there work? Fresh grad = associate? Manager level is either business or development partner?

Will people in this forums please stop throwing that adjective around Civil Service/Stat Board threads. Elite this elite that. Lolwtf.
If you aint PSC scholar, youre not elite. Stop ego-stroking. Despite its pressure cooker environment, ESG has always been one of the more accommodating branch in hiring partners from diverse backgrounds (including private uni scrubs).
Stop bringing in toxicity here.

This is accurate.
To shed more light on the typical progression.
MA (graduate program) > Asst Dev Partner/Biz Manager > Dev Partner/Biz Manager > Sr Dev Partner/Biz Manager (typical career ceiling for most) > Deputy Director > Director
Associate > Sr Associate > [insert fancy project name] Specialist > Dev Partner/Biz Manager > Sr Dev Partner/Biz Manager (typical career ceiling for most) > Deputy Director > Director
Do note that while technically hierarchically lower, some Specialists in ESG earn more than Dev Partners/Biz Managers.

That's insightful. Thanks! Surprised that most will end their career as a Senior Development Partner? What's the pay range? Should be quite decent I guess given that it's the career ceiling for most!
