What do you think, is it worth the time and money to study UniSIM part time ?

If you intend to work in public sector, Unisim is better because its govt-backed. But if you are pursuing a career in private sector, you can get a UOL part-time degree instead from SIM, its faster, not better though, but private sector cares less about what degree you have.

55% subsidy by govt~ est. 15k for 3 yrs part time w/o hons, at max 20k (due to the cost of eating over 3 yrs)

you still can work part time in the morning plus have a taste of uni life, why not? go for it!

Yes, though it will be hard and stressful to juggle between work and study.

Thank you !

Currently a student in Unisim PT too. To complete the course in 3 years, you need to take up the maximum credit units per sem (20 credit units which is about 4 modules per sem).

Honestly, it is quite taxing especially when you have projects and exam coming up while trying to handle your daily work.

The good thing is that the classes are not compulsory so if you are smart enough, just skip all the classes and study on your own.

Go for it, only downside will be the time that u have to spend to study after work especially
during exam period.
Better to study now than later when there are more commitments

oh well, you can just try. Assuming you are a singaporean, you can get 55% grant too.
Each semester will adds up to about $2500-$3000 after the grant. The whole degree will cost you about 15k to 18k assuming you don't have to retake any modules. Pretty affordable!

Btw, the price for the course goes up every year. So you might want to prepare abit more funds then the figures above.
