Should I pursue a Masters in Finance?

Hi everyone, looking to get some valuable and honest opinions on pursuing a master's degree, specifically one in Finance. I graduated last year from a local uni with a degree in business, majoring in finance, and have since taken up my first job. I am considering pursuing a masters in finance as I find progression in my current role limited, and I would like to pursue a masters in order to rebrand myself and to possibly open up more job/career opportunities. Another (possibly cheaper) option would be to pursue the CFA charter instead, but I'm not too sure how much that would help someone that isn't too focused on asset management, and I've heard that the CFA is focused on that area of finance specifically, which might not be what I'm looking for.

Would appreciate any insight from anyone that has pursued a masters degree as well, and how much the degree has helped in terms of your career, whether it has opened more doors for you, etc.
