There's always a mapping. Just depends HR inform him/her anot regardless of difference in salary range. Logically they should peg candidate to current grade if existing experience counts, so that in way he/she is not being disadvantaged. If you don't know then just keep quiet. Anyhow bark just show how ignorant you are.

I don’t think you know what u are talking about, CS to GT’s salary ranges are different and GT HR do not map or share them. And yes, there’s a mapping but not the CS grade that matters.

I’m a grade j hiring manager and there are a lot of Js around, I can bark around woof woof. Better than u just trying to smoke people.
