Whether feature or bug doesnt really matter here. At least based on what we are seeing here:

1) Salary increment has nothing to do with your performance (Quite a lot of B performers mentioning 2-3% increment)

2) Salary increment is higher for those who are below the median in their grade (More advantageous to fresh grad/newcomers/newly promoted)

3) Bonus is a flat amount based on grade, so number of exact months doesnt will differ (Also more advantageous to those below median)

4) However, unless anyone claims otherwise, the higher your job grade, the more bonus you are getting (DEFG getting 1.x months on C+/B, H getting 2.x months on C+, someone claiming I getting 3-4 months on C+, and 5-6 months on B). This definitely means that the bonus for senior grades are getting ridiculous.


Also looking at what they are announcing recently, the changes only benefit the senior grades (Promotion limit reduced for the senior level and above). So if you are at senior grade, it doesnt matter if you are old bird or new bird (Lol indeed), you will still get ridiculous amount of bonus.

For the junior grade, yea sorry you got makan by this shift, regardless if you perform or not(Unless you get promoted).
