Hi all, can I just make a quick check, if I am a singaporean currently working overseas and interested in applying for a snr assoc/AM level job, should I bother applying for CAG at all, or should I wait till I am physically in Singapore?

I read from some replies that there are actually essay questions and logic/reasoning tests, so I am assuming since I am unable to do those tests I should only apply when in Singapore?

Would be appreciative for any helpful replies! Thanks

what's the point of applying if you're not based in sg? what you gonna do when they call you for interview? book the next flight back immediately? lol

I mean, you are not wrong, which was why I haven't tried applying to any companies yet. But I was just wondering, since there are also companies who don't mind arranging a skype interview(even for normal applicants, I am not saying superior candidates), maybe they might/can be convinced. But if there are written tests, then it's impossible then lol

unfortunately a lot of singaporean companies are not so progressive. most would insist on eyeballing the candidate at an actual interview even after a skype interview

wow, congrats for even getting an interview! thats their usual standard reply.
i would think still have hope. no harm calling them or replying their email for the status though.
