I'm not sure of the starting pay. For most govt jobs now its 1 year probation and its usually renewable unless you really screw things up/ have conduct issues

I was called up for a pre-interview in early May. Scheduled for a written assessment a couple of days after. Confirmed the final interview about a week later. Took about 2 weeks for them to get back with an offer - currently pending final checks for this. Not sure how long they will take to confirm the final offer. Will update in due course. Is it a contract role? For system analyst, I only attended one interview they get back to me after 1 week and slightly more than 2 week for the email offer.
