HSA (Health Sciences Authority)
Dear all,
I would be most thankful if anyone could give me an idea of approximate salaries in the Health Sciences Authority.
There is a position in the HSA for Senior/ Regulatory Specialist with a qualification level of PhD. I was wondering if anyone could give me a hint about the income range for a position like that.
I am also interested in the working conditions in the organization. As the Job posting information do not have information about this, I would greatly appreciate your help and feedback on these questions.
I thank you in advance for the time taken to reply to my post.
Kind regards to everyone in the Forum

I would also like to know the salary range for a laboratory officer/scientist in HSA. The job environment too. I heard different stories. Some said degree holders got 2.5-2.9k, some said above 3k. Some said need to OT, while some said no need.
Thanks!

Health Sciences Authority forensic technician
Hi there, I am a graduating student from Murdoch University majoring in Forensic Biology and Toxicology. I will be graduating WITHOUT honours because it's quite hard to get honours in Australia uni, and last time had a Diploma in Pharmacy from Nanyang Polytechnic.
Looking to become a forensic technician (I believe minimum requirements is diploma/degree so I will be the right fit) at the Health Sciences Authority in Singapore.
Can I have a rough gauge of the following salaries:
- Forensic TECHNICIAN at HSA
- Forensic SCIENTIST at HSA
- And how to progress from forensic technician to scientist?
- Does HSA sponsor future studies at Duke- NUS? Any bursary or scholarships or funding?

I'm not sure abt HSA. But I do know that CNB are looking for ppl with a Forensic Biology background and the pay is quite good too.
I'm actually interested in studying Forensic Biology and Toxicology in Murdoch and would it be okay for you if I ask a couple of questions regarding your degree?
1) How was it studying in the course? Was is comprehensive? i.e. was there a lot of lab work, field work, attachments to criminal cases etc.
2) How much was it, overall?
3) Does specialising in this degree open doors to a variety of jobs available locally and worldwide?
Thanks!
