Kerry Consulting - Real or Fake Jobs
Hi All
Anyone have any experience with this recruiter?
Both I and colleagues of mine have applied to jobs advertised by Kerry and the jobs they have never seem to exist. They always come back with something like we just filled this job but still want to talk or simply don;t respond even if you're a fit. Crazy, happens every time - either they don't respond or say the role is filled.
I just saw an ad for a role they advertised. It's pretty easy to work out who the client is so I did some linkedin searching, turns out there's a guy in that same role who started just a few months ago. Bet employers wouldn't be happy if recruiter is using their job specs to bolster their data base.
Anyone successfully used these guys?

Real.
Proof: I've actually spoken to one of their recruiters for an hour and she shared with me a couple of jobs. (mostly in banking finance sector)

Yeah but did that translate into an interview? And if not how have they treated you since then?
Recruiting has become a commodotized industry now. There was a time they had relationships with hiring managers (not HR) and with candidates. Now they're order takers looking to fill with the lowest hanging fruit.
I don't doubt that they're legit, they must have some real live mandates. But I'm sure there are a lot of fake jobs in hot areas where they are looking to fill up their database of candidates.

Yup real jobs. I was the one who wasn't interested in the companies.

I'm just not sure how can you possibly imagine them to be fake jobs. It's not like they are asking you for money to refer jobs to you. They probably earns the same way other recruitment companies earn (refer successful hires, hiring companies pay them).
