Age 26.

80k in stocks
20k in savings
20k - owed by business partnerships

Question: At my age, would you diversify your money this way if you were someone who had not much time to spare? I for one can't spare much time working 84 hours a week!

wow, I stopped reading after page 6, cos too demoralising
either their numbers are artificially inflated or everyone is a highflier.
how do they accumulate so much so young?

Certainly makes me sound like an underachiever

started working at 24
(I did not work for 18 months in between)
now 33
total cash, cpf and stocks just slightly over S$205K (current net worth?)
no property, therefore no liability at all

you saved an average of 25k a year. that's pretty impressive if you're an average earner.

That's a combined net worth of around 1.2m, something that most lesser mortals can only dream of. Yet this is also just one-third of some lucky chap's annual pay. It depends on how you want to compare.

That's an impressive 900k net worth for a single-income family. You shouldn't be frowning.
