I turn 37 this year. Thinking of rejoining the civil service for better work life balance. What salary can I expect? I know I can't draw my private sector salary but what's an average salary that I can expect. I have 3 years of supervisory experience managing a team of graduates.

depending on the scheme of service you join... some that I know of is that you start from the bottom grade and get 1 increment per year of related work (including studies) or 1 increment for every 2 years of unrelated work. If your increments exceed that requirement for promotion, then you will start off with a higher grade.

Is there such a scheme called Senior staff officer for civilian position in the civil service?

how much is the pay range and considered mx scheme?
