Fresh grad 4-5k happens for some FCH, and other specialised professional services: MFA, ES, DSTA, LS, ISD etc.. Read the last 10 pages and you will find out more.

Btw is it true that if the economy is bad, civil servants will take a 10% paycut?

Default Csit

I have two friends in CSIT, this is the payscale they shared with me

1st class - 5.5 k
2nd upper - 5.1 k
2nd lower - 4.7 k
3rd class - 4.4 k

These are for fresh grad with NS. Can someone inside verify?

when i saw 3.5-3.6k i was happy as heck hahaha but i guess 3-3.2k seems to be more realistic. thanks for the reply!

The Foreign Service, Legal Service and Economist Service should pay the highest but they only pick the cream of the crop. If you have anything short of a FCH from NUS/NTU or from one of the Ivy League / Oxbridge universities along with stellar extra-curriculars, your chances are dismal.

EDB is ultimately a stat board and they are very much driven by ground performance. They give out scholarships like nothing so don’t expect that much of a basic but everything is about performance.

most salary range you see here is by just monthly gross, does not take into account of the bonuses. if you include bonuses and avg it to 12 monthly, fch easily more than 5k
