Just bump my question: Does an employee get increment and/or bonus if he join the stat board in this August this year?

What increment/bonus are you talking about? Please be specific here.

If you are talking about salary adjustment (or increment as you put it from what I understand from your question), it would already be factored into your salary when you sign the contract. Any actual increment as compared to your last salary would of course be dependent on the amount of your last drawn salary.

SG50 Bonus? No, you are late by a month.
Retention bonus? Depends on the nature of your transfer and/or your current min/sb
Sign-on bonus? Depends on which min/sb
AWS and other variables bonus? Pro-rated from the day you start work.

You ARE a new hire, remember that.

need to work for 1 yr to get increment, this is std. even in private coys

32yo, 2nd upper honours from uni of Wollongong, non scholar.
Major, SCDF, 8k++.

I got increment (those year end increment) before when I work at a coy for less than a year, like around half a year, so I think he/she is referring to that? Not sure about it

what was your starting pay? A fresh grad with good hons starts at about $5000 (combat) now.

Anyone can advise me on how much i could ask for in the civil service based on my profile?

Local Uni
1st Class honours
Male/NS
2 years experience with a fortune 500 companies

0 chance. entry grade for fresh grad is mx13. be glad if you are given mx12.
