You dare say this to your director?

So they do the south asian way of covering up with excuses by saying we have a talent "shortfall" and hence we need ceca agreement.
I'm from IMDA and I can tell you that the folks from the Human Capital Cluster (the division in charge of ICT talent) have no strategy about talent retention. They just keep saying FTs are required to fill up the shortfall. They even have a "global team" tasked with importing trash from overseas. The entire division is a joke.

Default Bonus

Hey all, just wanted to check if bonus (mid year/end year/ aws etc) are based on gross (basic + allowance) or just basic only?

To note: the allowance is CPF deductible.

E.g if bonus pay out is 0.5, do i get basic x 0.5 or (basic + allowance) x 0.5?

Thank you.

Post 3 year contract?

I graduated last year and did a traineeship after. I applied for a PS job and received a 3-year contract with a ministry under the MX scheme this year. May I know whether within this 3 years I’m unable to move up the ranks or am I even considered a full-time officer?
