Default Work or Study?

Need some advice on whether to start work first or study.

My current situation is kinda weird. I'm going to ORD in about one month's time. I had already missed out on the SIM UOL application for bridging (2years) since I had a Diploma in B&F. So should I start work first and apply the following year OR apply for SIM UOL w/o the bridging option whereby I have to study 3 years.

Please advise...

Err.. I agree and disagree. Why would you waste a year when you can finish your degree in two? Isn't it better to earn some money and get some experience and then go back and finish your degree? Going that route would mean that you have more cash and also have the advantage of finishing your degree the same time.

My suggestion is that you should seriously consider studying as well as working. At the same time, start a small business and save money. You will require it. Also, my suggestion is that you should get married to a girl who is 3 years 7 months and 2 days younger to you. Buy a HDB house with her and have your first child. Next, buy a car. And go full to produce your 2nd and 3rd children. After that, you can consider buying a private property. Remember, you can do it. It is up to you.

How do you start a small business and save at the same time. You insurance recruiter is it, because only these ppl would claim selling bank/insurance products as entrepreneurs.
Start business must invest all the cash flow at the infant stage. Personal bank account usually nothing left.

No, I am not. You probably don't know that not all business requires capital investment. As an example, let me share that providing services doesn't require monetary investment. The investment will be time but that happens everywhere. Services can be anything deemed fit and suitable to the OP.

Also, probably you are also not aware that one can request HDB to allow our house be registered as a company address as long as the people living around are not disturbed and the activities carried out are acceptable to them. This means, that one doesn't need to worry about rents for business activities.

Having said all the above, I wish to clarify from you whether you think selling bank or insurance products is not good?
