Just wondering, what was the indication given in your offer email from the HR as to when they will reach out? On a side note, my submission status on my job application just changed to 'completed' today.

Supposedly within a week of the email.
My submission status has similarly been changed. Perhaps we will receive something concrete by COB today.

Completed usually means not selected, else it will be "under consideration". Maybe after doing background checks on you, they decided that you are not suitable?

why don't you guys call HR? it's not gonna hurt your chances and it will give you peace of mind

I don't want to be seen by HR as someone who is impatient and lack of mental resilience due to the need of seeking reassurance from others to have a peace of mind.
who knows by asking HR it will hurt my chances this way!
