Working in MAS

Anyone care to share how the working culture is?

Based on a video i watched on Youtube by MAS HR, the office seems to be enclosed cubicle, quite gloom etc

Also how is the rank structure there?

Is it?

Associate,
AD,
DD

Would also like to know what's the equivalent title in the banking sector

place is slow-paced, made up of scholars and plenty of red tape.

rank is one or two notch above the equivalent of banks'. they need to talk to bank people frequently so rank is inflated.

wah means good to hop over to bank next time lah after working in MAS for awhile

since yr inflated rank at MAS will get you a high rank when jumping

no, it just mean your rank will drop when you have your transition into bank. the bank HR are not retarded

hahaha, go MAS don't think of jumping to bank. policy making has got nothing to do with banking.

Everytime MAS wants to do some stress test here and there, my bank CEO have to take orders from some small boy ranked Assistant Director, make everyone dulans have to do OT. Rather hire a fresh grad than a MAS guy.

i was under the impression that MAS can pickup compliance skills whihc can help if u wanna move to compliance departments of banks
