Default O lvl with 4 credits eng fail Jobs $3k/mth

Hmm i only got a aggregate score of 27 minus cca 2 pts where can i go? My parents advise me to study but my scores can't go anywhere.
Has any O lvl holders get a job that pay decently well enough to support a family?

Advise pls thx.

Just carry on studying. An o lvl cert alone would get you nowhere.

if u really dread studying, the only job that I can think of is sales line. Sales line need not depend on your qualification to get rich. Most importantly is meeting target, getting your stuff sold. Of course, most people don't really want sales line as well.

If u wanna get some office job kind, please go and get urself some more certification etc. Although certs does not equal capabilities, but employers got the perception that certs = more capable.

Is a H Nitec sufficient for a 3k job? I want to own a car and a house.

I think its more of a matter of goals and your willingness to achieve it.

Going to Higher Nitec won't guarentee that you get a 3k /month job. Some University graduates don't even get offered a 3k /month job.

If you want a house and a car, plan what kind of house and car you want. This gives you a gauge of your goal of how much you will need to earn and how long to achieve it.

If 3k is not sufficient, earn more. If it is, then live and be happy with life.

For career-wise, the world is harsh. Usually what we want to do doesn't earn enough to make ends meet. We end up doing what we don't like for money. So my guess is that you will be no exception from the majority. Please don't be offended.

Just my 2 cents worth. Hope you can make it in life.
cheers!

1st) 3k is NOT enuff for car, house (of reasonable size/standard; under20yr loan) dun even nid to say.

2nd) No way you can get 3k as starting pay, the closest you can get is to start from general sales line, if your 1st year performance is good, maybe you can get 3k from then on...

3rd) If you want to do sales, skip H nitec and go straight into general sales, 2 years industry sales experience is worth more than what you learn in H nitec.

4th) If you still dun like sales, re-take o level, this time study and pray really hard...

if all else fails....

Go direct to get professional certs in IT/DB/Networking, this one also needs to study one hor

IF STILL CANNOT...

SIGN ON!! Just sign on its the best choice given the pay, stability and "work-life balance" ever.

Cannot lah, a lot of degree grads dont even get 3k. HNITEC freshie usually join companies as technician/operator level, pay is around 1.2-1.5k. If you stay long enough, maybe after 15 years can reach supervisory level then got 3k.
