wow bro you made it sound so simple HUH?

Do you know how many fcuking singaporeans are working their butts off?

Looks like I have to explain in simple terms...

You take mrt go raffles, city hall, tanjong pagar, changi business park, harbour front..
The bottom line is most of us work our butts off to make a living,

and mind you, do i need to tell you we have more HDB than private estates..

Bro, don't put words so simply... the hard truth is most of us work hard to make $$$

in this world, we always have very few people who become bosses, most of us get bossed around. this is a concrete equation or definition. no force of nature can change it!!!!

This applies for people in the US too!!!!

What's the big deal over not working for money? A passive income of $4000 monthly is not hard at all, if you own a suburb small condo can already. There is more to life then working in some shiity job everyday. You all need to think out of the box.

Default start early

When I was younger, my elders always tell me to save for rainy days. That wont be enough nowadays with high inflation which will whittle away your hard earned savings.

What I wished my elders had told me was to invest my savings and not just save. If I had invested in properties, like some in my cohort did, I would be happily sitting back enjoying passive incomes from rental or drawing down the gains from flipping the properties. Now I hoped to imbue in my own children the benefits of investing their savings and to start early.

I started late (very late) in the investment game. These are my combined (with wife) passive income streams:

1. $30K per year from shares dividends (Reits on the average pay more than 6%)
2. $40K per year from rental income
3. $17K per year from CPF interest (can draw out from CPF if you are 55 yrs and above)

When we reach 62 years old, another source of payout:
4. $36K (estimated yearly payout from Annuity life plan for a couple)

Unfortunately the troll is right. Don't believe the nonsense in this forum. There are those who are only 35, already have "passive income" of 100k a year? Wow. Are you sure. Conveniently, they didn't mention the 2 million, 40 year loan that they will have to watch carefully when interest rates suddenly spike. Use plain logic. There is a reason why HDB income ceiling per family unit is 12k a month!

Are you guys mocking the poster (yesterday (Monday) at 2:17pm) out of jealousy or disbelief? The passive incomes he claimed are realisable and have been achieved by many who were lucky to have invested in shares and property during their early years. Unbeknown to you, the average looking uncles and aunties you see daily in coffee shops and in NTUC shops could be enjoying such passive incomes.

Dont be blinded by your current plight that there are people out there who through frugal spending and savings can still achieve comfortable lifestyle with passive incomes.
