What did you apply for? Maybe they want a range of age and u are the extreme end? Could be as simple as submit your details prepare to call you into military institute /your actual workplace for interview.

As mentioned, likely some form of clearance for the next round. Doubt it's any age range. Anxious because the hiring manager prefers a date that is very close perhaps. Usually also required to supply name NRIC and vehicle.

Anybody knows What’s the typical number of days HR will contact you if shortlisted for PSD?

Hi, does anyone know how long Vital will take to prepare the contract and contact me for contract signing?

HR already sent a formal offer via email, requested for photo for the public service card etc and said that she submitted the request to Vital last week. She mentioned that she's expecting that they will contact me this week but up till now they haven't contact me...

Is it normal for them to take more than a week or did something go wrong somewhere (e.g. maybe they want to retract the contract??)

Also, do ministries give formal offer before security clearance is completed?

Which ministry did you apply? I am on a similar case, last update was I cleared both security and medical. Pending approval and vital.

Yes their contract has clause that allows them to void the contract if all conditions are not fulfilled. My friend medical was complicated so he signed first for peace of mind. Eventually contract was void due to medical reasons. So now all of us know this loophole.

Sign early also pointless, might as well sign when HR confirms that you are unconditionally employed.

They said that approval for my hire has already been given by the higher ups and didn't mention anything about medical check up hmm... How long have you been waiting for vital?

How come his medical check up was complicated? Thought it's supposed to be some basic check up.

Nothing about medical check up has been mentioned to me so I don't think it is an issue for me at this point. Do you know whether ministries will offer before security clearance or it's only after clearance then offer?
