Hi there would like to ask if anyone has been offered to move from stat board to ministry previously, which entry do you recommend via movement policy or resign to join? Heard there are pros and cons, was wondering are there any benefits to keeping years of service? Thank you!

Curious question which I realised a lot of current officers couldn't answer...
Is there any monetary reward that comes with Long Service Award? If there is, how much is it and when will it be credited?

some medal, which u either wear on ur military uniform, or u illegally sell to collectors for "monetary award"

For MOE Long Service Awards (5/10/15..etc years in MOE), no medal is given. A small token monetary award is paid.
For the Long Service Medal (25 years of public service), a medal is given.

How much is the monetary award and when is it usually credited?
Strange, I don't remember receiving any monetary award before.
