no, i did my interview first and then later on the same day they contacted me back for unit preview + meet the director on the next day. i didnt ask when they’ll get back with formal offer but they said i could possibly start working in 4-6 weeks, hr will discuss with me the specifics. im just unsure of the timeline in-between and reading the replies here is making me a little worried…oh no, did you try to reach out and prompt the hr for updates?

The HR will reach out to you, don’t worry. Was in a similar situation and HR called me on the day itself (my unit preview was in the morning). Maybe for yours, HR will call tomorrow or so.

And yes, if you accept the offer, you will probably start in 4-6 weeks after you pass your security clearance

Mine don’t have a unit preview, because I applied for non-unit role. Is this normal?

Hi, does the hr offer you the salary package first before the clearance check or they will only offer you at the exact salary package after passing clearance?

I don’t have a hr contact. My interview has been coordinated by the hiring team thus far.

If I recall correctly, the HR will let you know your salary first.

Do you know what level of clearance you went for? Unless you know, it's not possible to compare since different levels of clearance have different timings.
