Dilemma Big 4 or Bank

Cheer up guys. My friend interviewed for tech and already got rejected. So, those who haven't got rejected would probably still "in consideration". all the best.
Oh, and my friend eventually got in UBS. So, one door closed might open another door for u ^^

hi confusedog, i faced the exact same dilemma as you. offered by both GEP in DBS and big 4 as an audit. i rejected dbs. although in big 4, u hv to work for long hrs and starting pay is not so high. u can learn much more than in ops and tec. and also hv broad network for future career development. for me, what i learnt in the job in first few yrs is more important than payment or working hrs.

hey can i just check with you guys that applied (especially those that had their offers), what academic background did you come from. Like what course of study and whether you guys did honours or not.

does the graduate executive programme only take in candidates with business-related degree or is it open to all disciplines? anyone know of people that got offers from other disciplines? i applied a day ago actually but my degree is in mass communications. do you think i stand a chance?
