So you cannot find job for >2yrs and started a desperate sounding thread last Friday. After kena whack upside down by others, you mysteriously secured a good job "after much negotiation" on a Sunday

You must have been offered some very senior level job for the institution to entertain you on a Sunday. Nice try. No wonder you can't get a job, your lying skills suck.

LMAO.

Another joker who can't even keep his story straight, Im always suspect people who start thread with intent more to get sympathies than to actually seek advice.

You're a frog in a well. Do your own sum. Car rental is 90-120 a day. Diesel 50. Each fare is 10-20 dollars. 300 revenue a day isn't that hard.

The smart ones wait in strategic areas. There are different strategic areas at different time of the day. The smarter ones do extra business by sending kids to/from school every day, and charge just slightly more than the school bus.

The super smart ones can even do forex / stock trading while on the move, better than those lazy bums who only sit at home and lose money in the game of pseudo science.

Hey, true leh. my uncle (citycab) and another friend (Prime) drove taxi and earn $4k and $3k respectively.

The Prime driver, who is my friend got only 3K because he drove 5 days per week, whereras my uncle got about $4k.

Last time I also don't believe, until they told me after much probing. Well, must say they got strategies lah.

But they worked quite long hours, about 8-10 hrs? Not a typical office worker, but hey - nowadays office workers also work 8-10 hours per day.... and sometimes gana f by boss for nothing...

maybe i'll consider changing job to taxi driver after few years, once i save enough cash.

Somemore with the recent taxi fare hike ... I'm sure they can well afford to work just a 5 day work week if they want to...
