While BB FO entry is quite tough for someone without strong academic achievements (FCH).
It's still possible to get into local bank FO for local and private degrees alike. Corp banking sales team Can be the easier entry for these so called FO roles in local banks and there is no short of normal achievers in there.

FO ultimately is still a sales job, and anyone who excels in selling and hitting targets whether be it in sales n trading, iB or corporate banking, I think it's possible for private deg in a local bank FO to subsequently move to BB FO.

Personally I grad from uni of london and am still coping well in my corporate banking rm role (Farmer/no hunting req). My advice is to do internships and get some relevant skill set. even before I Finih my last exams, I was fortunate enough and was offered a perm analyst role handling mnc portfolio back then

Truth is local grads are butt hurt because they spent $40k and 4 years on a piece of paper while private grads spend half and Amt of time and money to get their paper.
Of course they will expect better compensation than private grad regardless of how their skillset fare against the counterpart.
Do note that local grads pawn their same kind as well, i.e., FCH laugh at 2nd upper, 2nd upper laugh at 3rd class, and the cycle continues. But bottom line is whoever have more in their bank account win, a degree is just a means to get there.

Private UOL degrees actually cost more than local degrees.

Are UOL grads so gong or do they not know that since they use papa mama mummy?

Local grads are a bunch of self entitled pricks.
I am an entrepreneur and I would rather hire private grads who are cheaper and more efficient.
