Civil Service Performance Bonus

Got promoted from mx11a to 10. The Increment is less than 10%. Is this normal? Seems low compared to private industry...

MX10, PB Grade: B, Salary: $9.5K (MI 5.3%)
MI percentage seems lower this year - because of economy?

B grade. Promo from 11A to 10. Increment about 8-9%. $68xx to $74xx. Seems like I'm quite low for a 10.

Thanks. I've been in both civil service and private sector. I think it's quite clear that any increments are much more measured in the former. But then again, there are companies in the private sector with no increments at all when times are bad.

unfortunately the general scheme is now quite lagging behind tech scheme. an equivalent position is taking in 11xxx-13xxx

Hmm, DD at 9k to 10k only? Coupled with 16 mth package is just 150-160k. Quite low leh

11A to 10 this year too. increment was around 9.4%. B grade.
