Exactly. There is a big difference between a card issuer, card acquirer, co-brand cards etc. What makes you think Amex is a bank? Just because it issues credit cards? The VISA must be a bank too based on your reasoning. I am not sure if you qualify for Primary School.

Anway back to the original question, how is the culture of working in Amex like? Generally speaking.

Hey, Amex operates a bank for your info, they run a consumer banking business on top of providing services such as travelers' and charging cards.

They have an organisation doing fixed deposits and other consumer banking activities..

Anyone knows which bank pay so well for BO roles? I am working in a not that bad foreign bank. Not in BO. Doesn't seem common to me to have more than 8K within 5 yrs.
