Advice: Jumping from Big 4 to Bank
Hi, seeking some advice on career choices...
Been offered an internal audit position (IT audit) at a bank at changi business park and currently have been in one of the big 4s for 3 years, going into my 4th year. Is it wise to take up the offer?
Have some concerns:
a) How much of a pay raise should I ask for? (minimum amount,etc)
b) I live around the end of west line (jurong) so the commute may be super taxing, is it worth it? Not too sure whether theres shuttle bus from west to east, if any one is currently in the same situation, kindly comment?
Career wise, I am not sure whether its a good time to jump? Would I be learning more outside than in a big4?
Really appreciate any comments!

what rank are u in at big4 now?
how much are u getting now and which role/rank is the bank offering u?
most friends i know jumped from big 4 to bank during their senior roles
most banks in cbp has shuttle buses services from the west, free of course. examples jp morgan and credit suisse

Senior role now... Bank is giving me a manager role (inflated of cos). They are asking for my expected hence my post. I am getting near to 5k in big 4 now?

How many years of experience do you have?
Senior role = senior associate?

Just ask for 6.5k and let them negotiate down to low 6k-ish

For a senior role to a manager in bank seems like a good deal.. mind if i ask which grade in senior role?

Been talking to some recruiters recently
some said market rate around 10-15%
1 or 2 said it is good to even move laterally across
Had a bank offer two months back only 10%
Just ask for higher and let them renego

10% is really low especially if you look at the increment if you stayed on in big4...
