Now in private IT sector (one leg kick type), more than 10 yrs in same company. My performance on the average type, not too good, not too bad. I do alot but no promotion opportunity beyond technical role.

Your biggest mistake is staying in same company for 10 years while your peers after moving companies every 3 to 4 years and getting promotions/pay raise with each jump.

Anyone care to share how many years of experience is needed to reach DD position at MAS? What are the average monthly salary and annual bonus for DDs?

Anywhere from 10 to 12 years exp. Salary range depends on too many factors but 9k to 11k per month seems like an appropriate range.

Thanks! Anyone can share the ranking system/scheme in MAS? Is it pegged to the civil service's MX scheme, and is DD a MX10 or a 11A position?

Is a contract role with MAS good? Anyone knows if I should accept it? Applied for a full time role but got counter offered with a contract.

MAS got headcount freeze and only hires contract or sgunited traineeship

Ask HR how long will the contract last before perm emplacement. Usually it's 1 year contract before converting to perm.

They offered me until Dec 2022. So I guess 1.5years? Is it worth it to take a gamble for a contract role about conversion? Or shld try directly for perm.

I heard never join sb/ps as a contract. Unsure why. Anyone can shed some insights? Much appreciated 🙏
